The Port of Toledo’s Wooden Boat Festival is an annual event on the third weekend of August in Toledo, Oregon.  The Wooden Boat Show is a free, family-friendly festival celebrating Toledo’s boat-building heritage.  Various vessels are on display, including classic vessels, unique owner-built boats, and the Port’s trio of Teak Lady sailboats. Visitors can admire the craftsmanship of the wooden boats, meet exhibitors, and observe boat building in action. The event is located at the Port’s Marina and Waterfront Park at the end of Toledo’s historic Main Street.

​A highlight of the Festival is the GP Containerboard Boat Contest!  Challengers compete to design the best and fastest water-worthy boat from cardboard and test their designs on the water.

The festival also features live music at the Waterfront Park Pavilion and showcases local artists as well as musicians throughout the weekend. 

​Other activities at the festival include Family Boat Building, Kids Toy Boat Building, Poker Paddle and boat rides, kids’ activities, food and vendors booths, and informational and historical exhibits.
